How are tiles installed?
In tiles installation is necessary to lay subfloor first, as the plywood is not recommended, due to it can expand and contract. Subfloor is a layer that must be placed under the floor and above the floor joist. It offers support and creates a flat surface. After that, we glue down the tiles and let them to dry.
How do I know if I am choosing the right tile?
There is a big variety of tiles in the market. The first step to do is to think for what surface you need the tiles, floor or walls and check the floor tile wear rating (R rating). Here are some of the tiles that you can choose:

How to maintain tiles?
Before deciding the best tiles for you, you should consider the maintenance of each type. For example, natural stone need sealing when they are laid and resealing approximately every 6 months, but ceramic and porcelain tiles do not need to be maintained.
